GENERAL RULES:

1. The race committee reserves the right to combine classes or change the laps in an event.

2. We have a goal of 20 entries per class. Please get your entries in so we can plan the event.

3. NO TIRE REQUIREMENTS “RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG”.

4. Camping in the Park is OK but there are no sanitary, water hookups, showers or rest rooms.

5. TRANSPONDERS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL SESSIONS. RENTAL TRANSPONDERS AVAILABLE.

6. Race order will be determined when we see the entries. Although not guaranteed, the race

committee will strive to make sure no one has back to back races.

7. STARTING POSITIONS: The previous historical method of determining starting positions for the

Quincy Grand Prix had been by draw. In the spirit of safety, the committee has decided to use a

hybrid form. Qualifying will be done in practice and then the competitors will be split into three

groups based on their qualifying times, top 1/3, middle 1/3, bottom 1/3. The race committee

will then draw the starting position for each driver in the group. All drivers are welcome to

attend the drawing.

Example: 30 entries are in the class. Qualifying times 1‐10 will have their starting position

drawn for positions 1 through 10. Qualifying times 11‐20 will have their starting position drawn

for positions 11 through 20. Qualifying times 21‐30 will have their starting position drawn for

positions 21 through 30.

8. All Vintage karts are welcome including twins and 4‐cycle flatheads. VKA guidelines. We will

break up into more classes if the entries exceed 40 entries.

9. The race will be run rain or shine.

10. BODYWORK: All 2-cycle & Ignite classes are CIK Bodywork only.  All Briggs classes are open bodywork.

11. REAR BUMPERS: Full width rear bumpers are required in all classes except Vintage.  Rear bumper may be CIK plastic style or tubular steel.  Bumper must extend to at least the middle of the each rear tire and may not extend beyond the plane created by the outside of each rear wheel.  If the race is declared wet and rain tires are used, the rear bumper may extend beyond the plane created by the outside of the rear wheel.

Insurance: Every driver is expected to have health insurance.

Race insurance is supplemental.
